I am a Senior UX Designer based in Stockholm. I have 20 years experience of working in the gaming industry, crafting immersive, intuitive and fun games.

Toca Boca World (Made with Unity)

I was part of a four person team that created the first releases of what came to be the highly successful Toca Boca World that, as the first game ever, won Apples prestigious award App of the Year in 2021. The game has 50m MAU today.

Stardoll - Suite decoration and StarDesign

I worked at fashion community Stardoll that at the time had +100m members. Famous brands like Chanel and Calvin Klein had their virtual garments available for users to buy. Here users could style the interior of their suites. I focused on creating good tools for placement of furniture and other items.

I also designed and built a tool for user created content called StarDesign in which users could design and sell their own creations like garments or furniture to other members. Suddenly the constant begging for more content silenced while some users became famous designers within the community. The feature was highly praised by users and results from sales became a key revenue stream for Stardoll that lasted over a decade.

It turned out that users preferred to create illustrations rather than classic fabric patterns. Here you can see a user showing how to create a Mickey Mouse pattern (bear in mind that this tool was created eighteen years ago).
